Basin Street Jazz Band, led by Dennis Martin (trombone & vocals) of Johnson City, will feature an upbeat, interactive performance of New Orleans Jazz, traditional Dixieland, and Blues at the Cortland Arts & Wine Festival.
A musically diverse, high energy band, this ensemble features experienced jazz and blues musicians, music educators, and performers with extensive professional experience. Formed over 20 years ago by Dennis Martin, Basin Street Jazz Band prides itself on interactive performances (concerts, festivals, Arts-in-Education programs, Mardi Gras celebrations, and more), featuring a traditional Jazz lineup of musicians (3 horns & 3-4 rhythm instruments).
